What Is Wheels For Charity?
Wheels For Charity has been set up to be a Club for anything on wheels, from roller skates to lorries. The club is open to anyone of any age who would like to have some fun and at the same raise money for charity.

The forum has been set up in a way that everyone can suggest ideas that can be used to fundraise. Also the forum has heavy filters as children will be able to use it as well as adults.

We the staff at Wheels for Charity want to always get the kids involved in the fundraising as we think it sets a good example to children and shows them just how much fun you can have doing it. We the staff have been together fundraising for over a year now and along with our children have had lots of fun met interesting people, we even got on TV last year at the Cambridge Children in Need Live night, but under a different club name.

Once we have enough members, Wheels for Charity will be registered with the Fundraising Standards Board. This will give us a number similar to a Charity number allowing us to apply for grants to set up our own events. It will also give us a code of conduct to follow, plus help from the board with any questions we may have or information we need to know.

Now after our meeting at Hinchingbrooke House on the 12 Dec 2009, we are looking at the possibility of Wheels for Charity becoming a Trust. This will also hang on club membership and club funds. We hope we will be popular enough to achieve this aim over the next few years.

Also if anyone wishes to see our accounts, bank statements etc please contact us as we shall only be too glad to arrange a meeting and show you them. We have nothing to hide at Wheels for Charity.
